Media Player shows the files that Metalayer Crawler has found. It should find oggs from internal (or external) card after installing ogg-support. I'm pretty sure it doesn't go and index remote storages like UPNP and thus Media Player doesn't show them in the Library.

Also I'm afraid the Media Player UI might have hard coded list of media files it shows, when opened directly from it (menu -> clip -> open) and thus there is no way to get oggs opened directly with it.

For some reason Media Player is not indexing my ogg files.

I would prefer to leave them on my UPNP server. However, it still doesn't work with ogg files loaded onto the internal storage.
